On the catwalks last year we saw many designers bringing back denim and one item that made a difference is denim dresses for women. There was an abundance of them, and with celebrities seen wearing them, like Hayden Panettiere, Jessica Simpson and Jennifer Lopez – the rise in girls wanting them soared. This brought about many main high street stores also taking on this type of dress, which made it affordable for all.
There are so many different designs that are available it could be difficult to name them all, so we l take a look at the most popular, including the ones worn by the above celebs.

1- Classic – A straight denim dress typically in lighter shades of denim, this can be a short or a long dress, and can be teamed up with some great heels. Back in 2009 Hayden Panettiere wore a short classic style dress, and put it together with a white cropped jacket and white heels.
2- Gypsy Style – As worn by Jessica Simpson, from own collection this denim dress for women is great for when on holiday or casual days out. It is shaped upon the classic design and is better in darker shades of denim; it has an elasticized top part for the shoulders and bought in nicely at the waist.
3- Ruffles – Back in 2010 Jennifer Lopez was on the cover of a magazine wearing a stunning denim dress. Ideal for those women with natural curves it clings to the hips and waist. The top part is where all the ruffles come in, it had an unbuttoned opening to the front and then ruffled on each side creating an almost evening dress effect.
